Abstract

Learning Physics is often considered a difficult, abstract, and boring subject, especially for children in rural areas with minimal practical facilities, such as in Karuni Village. This condition leads to low student participation and enthusiasm when learning about physics concepts. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to address this problem through the Students' Physics Fun' Education Program, which focuses on a hands-on, interactive approach. The approach used in implementing this program is an Educational and Participatory Approach. The method used is a simple science practicum workshop using materials and objects readily available in the surrounding environment (low-cost, practical). The basic Physics concepts presented include the principles of static electricity, Archimedes' law, hydrostatic pressure, and heat transfer. The activity involved children from elementary to junior high school levels in Karuni Village. The results of observations and interviews showed increased participant participation and enthusiasm in the activities. This program successfully changed the children's perception of Physics from a difficult science to one that is fun and relevant to everyday life. The 'Fun Physics' program has proven effective as a strategy to foster scientific literacy and inspire rural children to become interested in Science and Technology.
